Bees, Trees and Seas

A series of fine art prints exploring environmental destruction and the hope for renewal.

This collection of prints explores the resilience of nature and how it can overcome the threat of climate change.

Each picture features a single flower symbolising how nature can survive even the worst of human actions if nature is given the chance to heal its self. The flower in each painting is providing nourishment to a bee.

Without bees there is no future. They play a crucial role in our ecosystem and food production. If we fail to protect them we will perish

Beacon of Hope

Beacon of Hope brings together an image of a giant allium that has survived catastrophic flooding and is providing nourishment to a lone bee, The spherical shape of the giant allium flower symbolises wholeness and completeness. It conveys a sense of unity and integration, representing the interconnectedness of all elements within the natural world. This symbolism invites viewers to contemplate the interconnectedness of life and the harmonious balance of the universe that is now under threat from climate change . The bee symbolises community and cooperation and emphasises the interconnectedness of individuals within society and the benefits of working together towards a common objective, fighting climate change

Natures's Sorrow

Sunflowers are resilient plants that can thrive in a variety of conditions. Their ability to withstand harsh environments, bend with the wind, and rebound after adversity symbolizes resilience, strength, and perseverance. In Natures Sorrow the sunflower represent resilience in the face of adversity, endurance in challenging circumstances, and the capacity for growth and renewal. The solitary bee symbolises the urgent need for action to address climate change and protect the natural environment.

Desert Beauty

Desserts can bloom again. The climate crisis can be stopped. Small steps, one flower one bee. This can be the catalyst for change. If deserts can bloom again we can protect our pollinators and save our planet.

Resurgence

The world is burning but there is a glimmer of hope. A green shoot is breaking through the inferno and against all odds will survive. This green shoot will be the beginning of a regeneration process that will provide a home to one of the most precious creatures on earth. The humble bee.
