This series of paintings explores the resilience of nature and how it can overcome the threat of climate change.

Each picture features a single flower symbolising how nature can survive even the worst of human actions if nature is given the chance to heal its self. The flower in each painting is providing nourishment to a bee.

Bee symbolism in art is subject that has been explored for centuries, transcending cultural and geographical boundaries. Bees often represent themes of industriousness, community, fertility, and the interconnectedness of all living beings.

One of the most prominent aspects of bee symbolism is the  association with hard work and productivity which has led them to be emblematic of diligence and industry. This is a reminder of the value of perseverance and dedication in achieving one’s goals.

Furthermore, bees symbolize community and cooperation. Within a beehive, each bee plays a vital role in sustaining the colony.
